Scenes

Art Beat Scenes are locations where approved Visual, Performing & Culinary Artists are placed. Each Scene typically contains a performing venue and space for booths.

Street Closings: Michigan Street will be closed from Colfax to Wayne. Additionally, Washington St. will close from Woodward Ct. to St. Joseph Street, and Jefferson St. will

close from the Leighton parking garage to St. Joseph Street.

Parking: On-street parking is free throughout downtown on weekends. The Main-Colfax and Leighton Garages will offer free parking. See parking map below for more information. The City will also create a few temporary handicap parking spots on Colfax and Jefferson.

Walking Route: The Art Beat Walking Route this year has been condensed to about 3 blocks.


 

Parking

Free on-street parking is available on downtown streets during the weekend. Other free surface lots available include:
1. North of the Morris Performing Arts Center - #4
2. East of St. Joseph County Public Library (off of Michigan St) - #11
3. SE corner of Main & Western

The following Parking Garages will be free to the public on Saturday:
1. Main & Colfax Garage (#3)
2. Michigan & Jefferson - Leighton Garage (#6)
